A record of the work.

Outscrap is a survival game in progress. Gathering your first supplies, putting up a shelter and heading back out should feel like parts of the same world. There’s a lot to build, and plenty to improve along the way.

This is where we’ll share that process: the thinking behind changes, looks at work in progress and notes on what’s ready to play. Update posts will describe released changes. Dev logs may show experiments that are still being worked on.

This first post introduces the news and feedback space. It does not announce a gameplay update.

Tell us about your time on the island.

The most useful feedback starts with something you experienced. Where did you get stuck? What felt good? What kept getting in the way?

For a bug, describe what you were doing, what you expected and what actually happened. For an idea, tell us the problem it would solve. A small, specific report is easier to act on than a long list of unrelated issues.

Read here. Talk with the community.

Full development posts will live on this website. Our Discord will also have an updates channel, plus places to discuss ideas and report bugs. You can choose the route that suits you.

Web reports go privately to the Outscrap team. Discord discussions can be seen by other members, so keep personal information out of public posts.
